Biography

Esther Keller received her undergraduate degree in Choral Music Education from Brigham Young University in 2021, where she studied under Dr. Diane Reich and Dr. Andrew Crane. After teaching private voice for several years, she received a Master’s degree in Vocal Pedagogy and Performance from East Carolina University in 2025, studying under Dr. Jami Rhodes.

Esther has been teaching voice students for almost ten years. Her teaching is scientifically sound and well-adapted to each students’ needs. Besides teaching privately, Esther taught and conducted several high school choirs and choral programs during her time as an undergrad. She also taught a Scandinavian choir of undergraduate students at BYU for two semesters.

During her time as a Master’s student, she constructed curriculum and taught undergraduate voice lessons and voice classes through a graduate assistantship. She has helped countless students prepare for auditions, musical roles, choir solos, a capella festivals, opera roles, etc.

Esther has been involved and featured as a soloist in several high caliber choirs, including North Carolina Choral Artists, BYU Singers, ECU Chamber Singers, and Wilmington Voices (upcoming). Her opera roles include Fiordiligi in the ECU Opera Scenes program, and Mrs. Odum in the world premiere of Gal Young ‘Un. She sings contractually throughout the state of North Carolina in addition to maintaining her vocal studio.

When Esther is not teaching or singing, she loves to spend time with her husband, Austin, and son, Solly (5) at their home in Knightdale, NC.
